As the rain poured down on ANZ Stadium, the boys in Melbourne Storm struck the Penrith Panthers to take out a 26-20 win at the NRL Grand Final. After Panthers took out the minor premiership, it was clear that our partners were back with a vengeance and not willing to go without a fight…
If you missed the game, you missed out on one hell of a match up. We saw Justin Olam set the pace by scoring the first penalty try of the game in Storm’s favour, Papenhuyzen’s mighty sprint to score for the boys before taking out the Clive Churchill medal and of course, Cameron Smith’s first-ever grand final try, before what could be a retirement announcement.
The game was jam-packed full of some of the most memorable moments in NRL history, and we are so proud to have ‘had the Storm’s back’ (of jersey) during the 2020 season.
Partnering with the Storm has been an extremely incredible experience, and we can’t wait for what’s to come in the next few years. As a part of our mission to promote health and wellbeing through fitness and nutrition, we could not be more proud to have seen our logo running around the 2020 NRL Grand Final and hope to see our partnership with the Storm grow as the years come.
We’d like to extend our congratulations to not only the players but the team behind them as well. As organisational culture is something that is imperative to how FYL operates, we truly appreciate the Storm and their emphasis on culture too.
Good on you, Storm! Until next year!
